The Natural:
Brandon McNees by RC Clemmons.'As I still consider my photography a hobby I am in it to meet great people and make great work and not for recognition or a huge pay off... yet lol'RC Clemmons
The quote above was from last August when I first profiled the work of photographer RC Clemmons. Since then, the 'hobby' has become more of a passion and I feel privileged to profile RC's latest work with Brandon McNees, a newcomer to the modeling world.

As an actor, singer and model, RC Clemmons has spent a lot of time in front of both a camera and an audience. Having worked for many years as a model, RC has the knowledge and perspective required to support a new model's journey into the business. It was this unique vantage point that came in handy supporting Brandon with his first time in front of a photographer's camera lens.
RC and Brandon were introduced through a mutual contact who felt Brandon had what it takes to pull of a great shoot. It took about 8 months to actually make that happen.
'Brandon is an amazing person over all who has a genuine and kind heart. His strong and chiseled features and the perfect definition of his body made this shoot pretty effortless. It took a bit of convincing to get him to the beach to shoot but as you can see for a guy who has never been in front of a camera, well worth the wait.'RC ClemmonsRC has an eye for talent and he was certainly spot on about Brandon. Besides his incredible body, Brandon has great face and his eyes demand your focus in each of RC's shots. RC is especially masterful in his work with fitness models. I mentioned in my last profile of his work with Anthony Steckle that he is able to skillfully balance and contrast both the strength and softness in each of his models. RC says his next shoot with Brandon is already in the works and given the results of their first collaboration, I look forward with anticipation to the results!
Brandon is an exercise science student at Grand Valley State University. Currently a junior, Brandon is hoping to graduate within the next two years. Right now he is looking to pursue either occupational or physical therapy at Grad School. Brandon is hoping though his modeling to gain some exposure to help him get under way. Brandon works hard pursuing his goals, balancing both school and odd jobs to pay for his education. As for Brandon, he too enjoyed the collaboration with RC and his first shoot was a great experience.
'It was a good experience working with RC, since it was my first shoot he made me feel very comfortable shooting with him and didn't press me to do anything out of my comfort zone. My mentality right now is, it's on to the next one and with practice the shoots can only get better, practice makes perfect! I'm very excited to see where this could potentially go and look forward to working with RC more in the future.'Brandon McNeesCheck out more of
