Ernest Pierce
By David WagnerLet me introduce you to someone most of you I am sure, already know. On the pilot episode of
Glee we were briefly introduced to Rachel's dads through those memorable snapshots in her locker. Since then, her dads have remained off screen but have been mentioned in several episodes. Fans on message boards and forums seem to want them to reappear at some point and often suggest some big name stars to play the roles. I think once you get to know one of the actors in those photo booth shots you will agree, the original dad would be the best choice!
25 year old Ernest Pierce knew he wanted to be a performer at the age of five after seeing a production of
The Wiz. Originally from Chicago, his acting career started in 1996 when he joined a traveling theatre troop called SWAP (Students with a Purpose.) Ernest has a Bachelors of Arts in Theatre and Speech Communication from the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign and a degree in Film & Performing Arts from Pierce College of Los Angeles. As an actor Ernest has been seen in both
Batman Begins and
The Dark Knight as well as in
The Women's Murder Club, Fred Claus and
Lincoln Heights. Pierce is also a talented writer and director and has written and directed two short films,
Something Else and
The Conflict Of Ms. Boston. Ernest is currently producing his third short film and as well will be seen in the new Alex Pettyfer film
Now.
The work of Photographer
David Wagner was the subject of a couple of my favorite posts from last year. David's work has a dynamic energy and excitement that is released in every one of his shots. What he puts into his work parallels what we get out of it. His years of working in design and as an Art and Creative Director give him the ability to create images that demand the viewers attention.
Besides his phenomenal work, I also admire David Wagner's work ethic. David is very respectful of the models he works with, and makes maintaining long term professional relationships a priority. When comminicating about his work with Ernest, David encouraged me to check out his work with other photographers and talked about what an exceptional actor and talent he was.
